GALLELY > “Short Summer” Mt.Daisetsu National Park
The mountain ridges, which had been covered with snow for about seven months, sprout with the melting of the snow and become alive with vivid colors. The creatures that survived the harsh winter gather together in search of the newly sprouted plants, forming a rich ecosystem. All life is struggling to survive the short summer.
約7ヶ月間、雪に覆われていた山の稜線は、雪解けとともに植物が芽吹き、鮮やかな色彩でにぎわう。厳冬期を耐え凌いだ生き物たちは、芽吹いたばかりの植物を求めて集まり、豊かな生態系を形成する。全ての生命が、短い夏を懸命に生きている。
